Win a $200 Gift Certificate!

That’s right! I’m giving away $200 worth of items from Yesterday’s Echo. There are quite a few ways to earn entries- and most are free! So here are the rules:
  • You may spend the $200 gift certificate on anything Yesterday’s Echo offers. This includes albums, custom and premade projects, materials, and labor charges. If your total is less than $200, you may apply the remaining amount to shipping charges.
  • You’ll earn one entry for each of the following:
  1. Becoming a fan on Facebook
  2. Adding either (or both- both will get you one entry each!) shops to your favorites on Etsy
  3. Following this blog
  4. Subscribing to the newsletter (Send your email address to news@yesterdaysecho.com)
  5. Following Yesterday’s Echo on Twitter ( @YesterdaysEchoB )
  • Each purchase during the contest will also earn you one entry
  • You may earn additional unlimited entries by sending friends over who do any of the above- just have them let me know who sent them!
  • If you’ve already done some or all of these, don’t worry! I’ll add previous fans and followers to the pot at the beginning of the contest and you can use the rest of the time to get additional entries!
  • This contest will run from May 5th, 2012 until June 15th, 2012. Winner will be drawn on June 16th, 2012 by random.org. The winner will be announced here and on Facebook and will be contacted through any & all contact information I have. If the winner has not claimed the prize by June 25th, 2012, another winner will be chosen.
  • If your username is different than your first and last name on Etsy, Google, Twitter, or your email address, please let me know so I can link them together and attribute the entries correctly.
  • Share, share, share! Who can say no to free money?! Every friend who joins in will gain you another entry, so send them all! If you follow all of the social places (Facebook, Twitter, newsletter, both Etsy shops, blog) and make one purchase, you already have 7 entries! With hardly any effort!
Any questions? Post them in the comments so I can answer here in case anyone else has the same question!

Mini-Palooza: Baby Girl Winnie the Pooh Album

I've loved working with this line of classic Winnie the Pooh papers and embellishments! They are absolutely gorgeous! Here's the cover of the baby girl version. Love the flower on the front. It's also a wood-based mini, so it is more durable than most minis!  Every page has been painted and I inked individual pieces throughout the album.

Here are the first inside pages. Aren't Pooh's flowers adorable!

Some glittery bees, a beehive, a border and some ribbon make this page perfect for your little busy bee!

Here, Pooh and his friends pop out of the page! A sweet little quote completes the page.
This mini is still available. View it here.

Mini-Palooza: Baby Boy Classic Winnie the Pooh Mini

Who doesn't love Classic Winnie the Pooh? This baby boy album is so adorably sweet! Each page has been hand painted before the paper was adhered and sanded. The front cover is just as individual- the layered title was custom cut just for this and the heart was free hand cut and sewn. Every character on the tabs has been handcut and I added a special adhesive to make them durable and shiny. They look a lot like epoxy stickers.

This mini is SOLD.

I embossed and then carefully inked every mat in this album. The first two page spread has room for one large and two medium photos. A glittered honeybee and Pooh's honeypot pop off the page. Turn Tigger's tab for the next page!

Turn the page and you'll find Piglet's pages. Here there are mats for two medium and 4 smaller photos. More glittery honeybees flit around. Several die cut borders decorate these pages.

The final two page spread has room for either one very large photo or a photo collage and two medium photos. A beehive calls the bees home and Tigger and Pooh play on the tab.

Here's the back cover. A single bee and photo mat are ready for a final photo!

Mini-Palooza: Birthday Mini

Happy birthday! No matter who is having a birthday, this mini will be great to showcase the celebration! The papers and embellishments are very gender neutral and there are plenty of foil- and glitter- coated spots to add birthday shine!
Multiple journaling shots ensure that no moment will be forgotten.
I've hand painted each page before adhering the papers and then sanded each and every part to create a smooth look. The papers look like they were printed right onto the wooden base of this mini. The wooden base makes this album even more ideal- it is stronger and will withstand much more than a standard chipboard album!

The first inside page has lots of shine on the background paper. There is room for a large photo to start off the festivities!

Save two pictures on this page. Handcut gift and phrase embellishments complete this page. Look closely at the photo mats- they've been inked by hand for extra oomph!

Add two more photos on this page and write down who attended the party. A popped-up, hand cut birthday cake brings it all together.

Another pair of photos will round out this page. Don't forget to list gifts that made the favorites list!

For the grand finale, add an oversized print to the back cover. This multi-layered mat will make your photo pop!

Mini-Palooza: House Mini

Front cover with "Family" title
This mini is so much fun! Each page is a different shape and it make a really fun experience to page through and see the layers building up and receding. Each page has a custom die cut & layered title. All the papers are perfectly homey! Use it for a new home or any family memory! Fill it with current photos and send it to a grandparent! The front cover can be customized with your last name or anything else. Every photo mat has four custom cut photo corners.
First inner pages. The title here is "Home."

The mats on the inside pages here correspond to the holes in the front cover. This way you can have your family peeking out!
Detail view of one of the titles.

Another mat is positioned to peek out the front on this page. There's also room for three additional photos.

A closer photo of the next page. Room for four photos with a heart in the center! Title is on the opposite page in this layout.

The same page, farther back to show the facing page. The facing page has room for a large square print!

Back cover. The title on this page is "Love" and there is a large mat here for a large photo or a collage of smaller photos.

Mini-Palooza: Wooden love mini

That's right, this mini is wood based rather than chipboard based! This makes it heavier and more sturdy. This mini is currently available on Etsy. Please take a look at the complete mini information there if you are interested!
This one was one I put lots & lots of time and materials into. Each page was handpainted before the papers were adhered and the detail work continued from there. I custom created a clear acetate page for use in the title and a center page. Perfect to remember a perfect love story!
